EXPRESSIVE HUMAN EYES
Next to the feet, the most neglected part of the body is the eyes. And yet it is the eyes on whom the whole beauty of our face depends. It is the eyes which attract or, repel or invite sympathy or pity or Show feelings of fear. In the whole word, there is no other language equal to the language of the eyes and we take this main asset of ours for granted. We punish them, by giving them little or no rest and we starve them continually of food which they need to keep themselves strong! bright and clear. Inspite of treating them so inconsIderately they serve us faithfully. Here are a few tips on how to take care of your greatest asset. .

1. Remember, healthy and expressive eyes are of more value then all the wealth in the world. To keep them so, feed your bloodsteam with a steady supply of VItarmn A! and B2 (Riboflavin). Vitamin A not only prevents nght-blindness, eye-strain and fatigue but at the same tIme, It helps the tear ducts to secrete their natural moisture, the best lotion in the world to keep the eyes naturally sparkling and alive. Vitamin A is found in liver, apricots and deep green and ,yellow vegetables. Citrus fruits provide the invaluable VItamin C and Riboflavin is found in yoghurt and Brewer’s yeast. Feeding the eyes with regular doses of· Riboflavin, safeguards the .eyes. against cataracts and eyestrains. These three VItamins along with. other Vitamins, should be fed regularly to the eyes if you want them to serve you faithfully throughout your life.
2. Never do any work at close distance for a long time without giving your eyes some rest. If you have to study for long hours at a stretch, take a break of 5 to 10 minutes at the end of every hour. Close your eyes.

Fill it with clean sterilized water. Cover tIghtly .and place it in the burning sun. In the evening remove It to a cool open place. In the morning use thIS lotIOn as an eye-bath. in a special cup. If you want your eyes to .be bright and sparkling always, wash them regularly wIth this lotion. Keep this bottle daIly.in the sun and then in a cool place if you want to use thIS lotIOn regularly. .
5 .To relax tired eyes, rub your complete face with ,ice then dip two cotton wool pads in iced water to whIch a few drops of your favourite colongne has been added and place them over your eyes. 9. If your doctor recommends spectacles for you get yourself the best that money can buy. Well-fitted, good-looking ones help you to feel and look years younger, because they remove tension and strain from your eyes.

GIve your eye muscles every chance to relax, which they cannot do, as long as they have this encumbrance.
Even If you cannot do without them, take them off from time to time during the day, close your eyes, cup your palms over them; shutting out all light and forget the world for atleast five minutes.
