A scarf affords a unique opportunity to mix and match a wonderful palette of colours and patterns. Brilliant contrasts and patterns add a high fashion note if chosen for their colour appeal.

Be adventurous with scarves. If the season’s top colour is scarlet, introduced it to your wardrobe in a scarf; if tartan predominates, invest in a plaid muffler. Without spending a small fortune, you will be able to add touch of colour intended to make a strong fashion statement.

Try mixing bright with bright-neon shades of electric blue and fuchsia with vibrant limes, zinging yellows and deep purples. Tone down your thinking-put soft pastel shades with the elegant mid-tones and darks to lighten a look and give a beautiful glow to your skin.
